I'd really need more information to help you, like did you install the new Windows in another partition/drive/directory? (If you installed it in another directory of the same drive without uninstalling the previous version, I see where's the problem.) As for the blinking issue, I don't have an idea what it is (screen refresh rate? I doubt it, you probably know about it).
Post as many details as you can in the technical thread, and I'll help you if I can. (In the worst case, you'll have to get rid of both Windows installs manually, then install a fresh copy.)

I managed to fix the "blink" problem, turns out it was due to a sloppy news program uninstall.
As for the two versions of windows, i installed windows on a seperate drive. But it doesn't really matter if i can't remove it, as long as i can still use my computer.

I always format the HDD before reinstalling windows, it leaves all the programs on and stuff if I don't need, and it's like two pieces of papers on eachother, but covering and blocking eachother. Like I could use my programs, but when I wanted to reinstall them, it messed up totally. And the programs left on went wrong as well.
Owell, this just got into my mind hearing this.

Thanks ^_^', nope, #4 it's a ballet dancer. I'm not too sure as to what's trance music and the difference between trance, dance, house, and everything that sounds the same to me; but 2 of the 5 parts were danceable by modern standards. I hope they'll do a function every week, and of course on new year and special days. I'll probably go there every saturday night if there's a weekly function.

Study will come for me after 4pm, math tets, physics test, english test (no big deal) but still needs revising. And my nemesis History ~ as always.
